Shopify Beauty eCommerce Design for Sheika

Project overview

A high‑gloss, high‑conversion Shopify 2.0 rebuild for a cosmetics brand known for its Harem Eyes Eyeliner and The Desert Palette. I delivered a sleek, editorial storefront with fast performance, intuitive shade selection, luxe bundles, and social proof that converts.

The brief

  • Create a premium, fashion‑forward experience that still prioritizes speed and conversion.
  • Make shopping shades simple (shade finder + swatches).
  • Launch “Luxe Bundles,” “Mystery Box,” and “Top Sellers” to boost AOV.
  • Integrate UGC, reviews, and an Instagram feed without slowing the site.

Goals

  • Clarify categories (Eyes, Face, Brows, Lips) and surface “New In.”
  • Reduce clicks to add‑to‑cart with quick add and variant swatches.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and on‑page SEO.
  • Grow email capture and repeat purchases.

Role & tech

I led UX, UI, Shopify theme development, CRO, performance, SEO, QA, and launch.
